I'm confused - has he or has he not responded? In one post you claim he responded asking for pics. In another you claim he has basically not responded. Either he has or he hasn't.

    Yes a wooping $20 off.

Yes of course. Read my original post.

I am not a ultimate experienced bp owner (little over a year). So this is new to me and many others did not know what it was either. I have a vet appointment for her this Friday. Then I will be able to put a name on what this is that is "Wound"
I'm trying to understand the nature of the complaint. Please correct me if I'm unclear on anything here because I have had a hard time putting everything together after reading what seem like contradictions in your posts.

It appears as if you knew about the tail when you bought if and received a $20 discount on the animal - correct? Then after a few days in your care the tail apparently took a turn for the worse - right?

See, your post in the wound thread makes it seem like the seller hid something from you, when if fact it appears as if he gave you a discount (albeit a small one) for the tail.

If so, did the tail get worse under your care or is it in the same condition as it was when you bought it? If it is in the same condition, why was this not a concern at the time of your purchase?

He was to send me pics the next day to show the condition of the tail, I never recieved any pics. Nor have I recieved or been ignoring any calls from him or his partner.

My email address is rci_russ@yahoo.com if you have pics of the animal and my cell # is 810.333.9980 in case you lost it.

Please get in touch with me so we can continue to move forward with this. I wish you would have contacted be like you said you would without going to the web to discuss this matter. I am willing work with all of my customers and am not in this for the short haul.
So the seller is admitting that he got the one call from you but never received your pics. He has come onto this forum to publicly address your complaint and has expressed a desire to work towards a resolution. This after a bunch of yahoos have now piled on your "Bad guy" thread and have made all sorts of snarky comments about him, the name of his business, etc.

So if I have everything lined up here correctly, you knowingly bought an animal with a retained shed on it's tail. You inspected it at the time of purchase and received a small discount for the imperfection. The tail worsened under your care and you contacted the seller about it. Something the seller openly has admitted to.

The seller asked you to send some pictures which you claim you sent but he says he never got, so you came here to warn all of us to stay away from him.

He then joins this forum to address your concerns, openly expressing his intent to make this work.

Seems like you jumped the gun and this guy is displaying an unnatural level of patience with you. My advice is to back away from the keyboard and call him.

Keep this in mind - the reason why some people smelled fish is because it didn't take an idiot to figure out that you probably knew about the tail at the time of the sale.

To date I have not heard back from Jeromy or his partner about the snake I sold them. Please, Jeromy and Ken, get in touch with me and we will get this issue straightend out.

To all of the folks that supported me in this thread I thank you very much. I appreciate you kind words.

To all of the members who put me down without knowing me, I invite you to stop by one of the Taylor shows and say hi, meet me face to face and then make up your minds about me. I am here to enjoy our hobby and build a happy customer base.

    Thanks again,

Ok Russ you and I will discuss this as men face to face at the next show. I did call once you gave me your e-mail, I sent you pics of it and continued to try to contact you through email. You have not responded to one email I have sent. I have sent you PM's on yahoo when ever I seen you were online to try to contact you. NOTHING.

Now everyone who thinks I'm fishy, There it is. Thats how it went down. Yes inexperienced I admit. Ignorant I am not.

It was not a discount for the tail or bad shed it was just an overall chunk of change off, It's a reptile/trade show ya know????

I have already resolved the problem on my own after taking the snake to a vet.
I gave up any hope after not receiving any response back from you.

Her tail is fine now, just some scarring.

This whole thread was blown way out of proportion by people with either no lives, no jobs, or just love to argue.

    See you the 14th.

You know, threatening someone like that is really a rather pudly thing to do.

YOU were asked for information you did not provide.

YOUR story does not match the sellers.

    YOU tucked tail and ran.

Nothing was blown out of proportion.

While a good back in forth is enjoyable, you simply NEVER proved anything except your inexperience.

Maybe you'll do better next time. So long as the seller you're trying to buy from doesn't know about this thread.

    Hi,

I have to say it is partly because you have not made your case very well - you seem to contradict yourself many times which makes people think something is not quite right.

Those two posts directly contradict one another - the earlier post says you inspected it at the show and the use of the word "yes" when answering Wiloms question about money off seems to confirm it was for the bad shed.

Now compare the apparent fact you saw it and got money off for it ( from our readings of your post ) with this post - especially the highlighted part.

Tells me he don't care is what I get from all this. Well I'm giving him till this afternoon to reply, rectify, or respond to something before putting an alert to buyers in Michigan to beware of this guy.
    Thank you once again
Did you mean he didn't notice it before you drew his attention to it at the show or that he hadn't noticed it when you called him about it later?

It's very confusing from our point of view the way it has been written.

Should you be unlucky enough to find yourself in a similar situation I would advise sitting down and writing down the timeline of who said/ saw what when to help explain it better.

It's not called a threat, it's called being a man. Don't want to be on here acting like I'm that guy or portraying that I'm a typing tuff guy in anyway. So I'll speak with him face to face as REAL MEN should do.
I'm not going to start with you all I've seen is you going back and forth with people trying to be witty.

Yes he knows about the thread and I don't care if it's the president of this great country, I have a voice

And, not only that buy you have a right to use that voice and continually prove the old adage that it is better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Congratulations, you have done one of the finest jobs of doubt removal it has been my pleasure to personally witness.

[off topic]I love peanut butter. [/off topic]

If it was something noticeable upon the first initial inspection of the animal before purchase it should have been brought up right then and there. At which point I would have walked away from the deal.
