Contest idea's??

I'm a "small time" breeder. I am working towards more high end stuff, but I'm not there yet by any means.

I do not currently have a website. I usually sell my offspring at shows, kingsnake and through Youtube. But now that I know this forum has a classified, I'll probably use it too. I do plan to have a website done before long though.

I'm actually liking the idea of an art contest. If I go that route it won't just be drawing though because that wouldn't be fair to people that suck at drawing. It'll more than likely include pictures, paintings, etc.

I would exclude photography, not because I don't consider it an art or anything, but because it's far to easy to cheat at.

What about a " Name that Morph " contest ?

Show a close up shot or two of a particular morph, and see who gets the right answer first.

Goodness knows we all have fun playing that game here. And by using fairly closeup shots, you would eliminate the instant wins.

Sure anybody can figure out the difference between say, a pied and a calico with full body shots, but get down just close enough, and is that patten a bee ? a clown ? Maybe it's a lesser ? Wait, it's a pinstripe! Isn't it ? You can see where I'm going with this.
