Now all you have to do is add wheels and heat

I'm not going to add heat yet. I'm planning on heating the entire room instead. I only put 3 nails in the back. Just in case I want to add heat in the future.
I don't know how well wheels will work because the room has carpet. It's a great idea, and I'm still considering it.

    Thanks Dave!
Yeah, I don't think I'll have any buyers. It will work for me though. I'm lucky because I live by myself. Otherwise that whole kitchen table thing might of got me into some trouble. LOL

Bigger wheels (casters) will roll on carpet, that is one case where bigger is better!!
Mine are turning me into a liar!!
I have been telling my wife for years that I cannot build her a kitchen nook and now she has seen me do the enclosures and today I just finished adding a/c to our shed for the rats too

I wish I could put my rats in my shed! I share my laundry room with them. My shed would cost me a fortune to heat in Ohio weather because it needs some work. I need a lot more practice before I start that project. LOL

Re: bp's are turning me into a carpenter!

I got a few more done! My new snake room can hold a total of 10 28qt tubs and 36 6 qt tubs so far! I don't have any babies yet, but I'm prepared for lots! I think I have enough wood to build another baby rack tomorrow. I'm going to keep my breeding rack in my office. It holds 32 41qt tubs. Its nothing fancy, but works. I'm planning on moving all my boys and smaller females to the new snake room so that my office rack can be all females that are breeding weight! As soon as Menards puts melamine on sale again, I'll stock up!

My new snake room so far!

I'm planning on heating the whole room with a 1500 watt oil filled heater hooked up to a thermostat. I ran 11" flex watt back heat on one of the baby racks before I decided on heating the whole room.

I run 3" flex watt tape on my office rack as belly heat and it works great on 41qt tubs.
