+1 put me down as another that believes that a number of combos express het pied visually.

Yeah, I added an enchi to my pied cross pool just because the enchi pieds were so colorful, and I figured it'd be hot with a pastel pied. But my main project is black pastel pieds, and it'd be terrific if the enchis increased the black on the supers.

I've pretty much given up on cinny pewter pieds because they've been coming out so high white. It'd be awesome if enchis made it possible.

+2. Even just the number of combo het pieds that come out as ringers is pretty striking.

Yeah, I picked up a female Enchi 50% poss. het pied from Kevin at the Houston show. He said he thinks she looks het pied too so I've got fingers and toes crossed she proves out in a few years I think the Enchi Pied with some color morphs would be awesome as well. Super Enchi/Super Pastel/Pied would be freaking awesome!

My Pewters 66% het have a lot of white as well. I would love to see a picture of your enchinspider

    Has anyone made one?

I haven't seen an enchi BEL yet, but the enchi ivory turned out almost all yellow... http://www.worldofballpythons.com/morphs/enchi-ivory/

Enchi pieds are stunning enough in their own right to be a worthwhile goal. The enchi gene seems to be a bit odd in that it doesn't always seem to fully express itself visually while other times it has stunning effects on pattern and/or colour. I am looking forward with interest to see what happens with more complex enchi pied combos.
