Some quit eating early on well before building and others will eat all the way up to ovulation.
I've heard of a few eating after ovulation but haven't had mine do that.

Re-looking at the pics I agree, too swollen to not be an ovy especially if you see tail suck, congrats

    congrats????????

you mean theres eggs in this chick???
like i said this is my first season and i really need to know if you HONESTLY FEEL
the tail suck and swell and info i have given indicates gravid. like she's got eggs on the way.
i dont have an incubator because i wasnt sure if she was even gonna
go. she had been locking since early november with this same pastel.
so i had expected to not get eggs.

i know its asking alot, but say the word and ill have the incubator tomorrow and
set up before you finish reading this post!

    p.s.

she's got the pastel in there with her right now again and she aint havin it. no wagging no scenting. ZIP.
she's on the hot spot alot, more than usual. and she dont want nothing to do with locking up.

Palpate her after the ovulation and you should be able to feel eggs.
If you can't do you know anyone who can palpate her for you?
If and assuming that is an ovulation you have about 45 days to be ready for eggs.

well i dont know anyone who can palpate but i did feel lumps when i ran her thru my hand feeling her sides.
she basically slithered thru my hand (palm to her spine)
and pinched her sides a lill
and i felt a few bumps.
this was about 2 weeks ago.

wow, im so excited. so should i be (assuming its ovy)
waiting on a shed? to start the count down?

I've had some stop feeding before I drop temps, and one of my best breeders never goes off feed.

In fact, she ate the day before she laid last season!

    Every snake is different.
Just a few snakes and geckos at the moment.
