I am about as ambivalent as it gets regarding piercings. Don't have any myself but to each their own. You're a pretty girl and if you like to sing, why risk that? Have you thought about a tattoo? That's a lot more personal in that you can make it anything you want, as opposed to a piercing that might be a bit "run of the mill" in that a good number of people have them, as opposed to a one-of-a-kind bit of ink; the flip side, a tattoo can be a lot more permanent than can some piercings.
Just a thought, as it's obviously entirely up to you and there's pros and cons to both. Whatever you decide, decide for YOU and enjoy! Good luck choosing!
