you shoudnt really be feeding her over 3 meals in between poops. feed larger meals, better for her and you.

Breeding females want to eat and feeding them smaller meals is better IMO if you want them to continue to eat till ovulation.
I'll feed three or four 30 gram weanlings a week to a 2000 gram female and she'll eat those and beg for more and might get one or two more, lol.
The amount of rats isn't what matters, it's the total weight of the prey you get in them.

There's a thousand different ways to breed and feed, find out what works for you and run with it

well with her she is a little different. You can't tell if she wants another one. So what I do is keep throwing one in there with her if she takes it then I will put another one in there after she has re-aligned her jaw. When she goes the opposite way from the mouse it means she is pretty much done so I take it out and put it back in my mouse cage.

If you saw the original post, she is only a mouse eater she will not eat anything bigger so I don't have a choice. She will only eat like 2 mice to 3 mice in one sitting that is why I offer her food more often.

That's what I do with my mouser girl also. I can get her to take a small ray every couple months or so. I'm planning on trying to switch her soon.
