I purchased a female pied from Rick last January. She came as advertised (pretty sure via fed ex) healthy warm and began eating the following week. I also purchased 3 male normals from him for my pet store and he sent me two normals males and 1 pastel male. When I emailed him to let him know and ask when he would like me to ship it back he told me he sent it to me on purpose.

Rick is a good guy and I am happy with the animals I received from him.

I believe any breeder who makes special prices for fresh out of the egg babies that haven't shed or eaten yet is just out to make a fast buck... but again just my opinion

I don't know what ads he has now or what you are refering to, but my pied and the males had eaten at least 3 times per Rick before I purchased them. And the price was about the same as every one else maybe a little cheaper but no great omg deal. However I am happy with my purchase and she is still doing well

Whatch his web site daily once his babies start to hatch and you can purchase them right after they hatch, before they have eaten their first meal and had their first shed for less money than after he has fed them... No it isn't an OMG deal but it is cheaper and I still feel that if he really cared about the animals he would be trying to give them the best start he could. Like I stated in my first post, yes my 2 "proven breeders" arrived in great shape, and the female is wraped up with one of my other males right this second with a pene in her. The male hasn't bred with ANY girl I have ran him with though, and my biggest problem was with how rude he was every time I have delt with him. Again it's all my opinion based on my personal dealings with him, and based on those dealings I will not be buying anymore animals off of him.
