Tiger ball, pastel tiger questions?

I was thinking about getting this female tiger ball (hopefully pictured above). I have tried to find some info on these, but havnt found much thats to helpful.

I have a few questions.

I really like the look of this snake im my opinion it looks great, but is it an good example of the tiger ball?

Second i would like to one day breed her to my super duper lovely pastel.
Will the tiger banding still be a dominent feature on the hatchlings?, as i think a pastel influence would look great with this gal.

Any info on tiger balls and examples would be greatly appreciated, and pastel/tigers

I do know that they get confused with the morph called tiger in the US.

Well it definately isnt the desert enchi tiger thats for sure lol (i wish) so from the links you provided it would be the genetic tiger pattern. Im assuming thats just a super reduced pattern on a wild type, really like the look however.
Do you think the tiger bands would remain dominant if bred to a pastel in your opinion?

I will email them they might be able to tell me about this, he seems to be doing some of his lines on other bp so it may well be there own.

Have you bought from them before, your in scotland right? Im living in copenhagen so wouldnt be to bad of a flight for her.

Hi,

No I haven't bought from him - to be honest his prices always seemed a little high to me.

But I know some of the banded lines are dominant so, if his was that reliably genetic, then you should have a fair shot of getting the pattern into the other morph. Nobody can say for certain though - especially if you put it with another pattern morph.

If it is, however, just a pattern on a wild type the the chances get less reliable but it definately still counts as a possibility.

If he sends you some pics of the results of a pastel tiger pairing I'd love to see them. Roussis Reptiles had some amazing animals on their site a while ago and I would love to try and line breed something similar.

Agghh wow im loving those zebras, thats the kinda picture i had in my head (not as clean and yelolow as that) when i was thinking about the tiger and pastel mix.

I will be sending an email to them, see what info i can get on those tigers they have and if he has pasteled them before, will try to upload a picture if he has any.

Im thinking, if it is possible to keep the reduced lines clean, it would definately be better with a super pastel. Then you might start getting close to those zebras, but they are amazing, my kinda snake. Loving yellow and black animals!

Doesn't look like a tiger to me. I'm not sure about the genetic traits to wether the pattern would be passed on to it's offspring. If you like it get it and breed. You'll know soon enough.

That pic that you have posted doesn't really look too tigerish to me, but it could very well be. It looks like toronto can arrange to ship international too depending on your price range. But once I saw the "tigers" on their site I was blown away.

To the OP, my co-dom Diesel(banded/Tiger) line, the one that created the Super DIesel as seen in those links actually originated from Stephan Broghammers stock(the place you wanted your tiger from) I picked my pair up in 2005 from him at a Daytona show. I picked these two because they looked the nicest of the ones he had. I know on his website the ones he has labelled as "banana" (not to be confused with the American banana ball) look most like my Diesel line but he still hasnt produced a super like the two I have but the reduced belly pattern on his bananas resemble my Diesels, I also have one of his Banana balls, so maybe I just got lucky with the two I picked as they have produced two supers and 5 more that look like mom and dad. I know when they were purchased they were just called banded.
