Have you updated Chrome to 10, it's just out of Beta and seems pretty fast so far...maybe that will help?
I have used it on my phone recently, but it's been happening before I've ever tried t on a cell. I've looked in all my settings and nothing seems out of the ordinary, but I haven't updated recently. I wasn't aware that an update was available. Thanks for the reply, it was very helpful
