    Does the spider part only show up on the head and white everywhere or is that just how this particular guy ended up looking? I was picturing what a pied looks like but with the dark areas it would look like a pied.

    No the spied only has color on the head. There may be exceptions but I've not seen one.

    Yup, in the Spied the Spider part is only expressed on the head.
