Yup, mine's doing that right now actually haha It doesn't seem like any kind of abnormal behavior to me. They still feel "hidden" and protected with their body inside of the hide, but they can observe what's going on in their environment. It might even be how they ambush their prey sometimes.
As far as her going to the opposite hide when you put her down, it could be that she feels like she has to get as far away from the "big, scary thing that picked me up" as possible. That's just a guess though. I wouldn't worry about it that much, but it would be interesting to find out exactly what they're thinking sometimes![]()
