Flexwatt not staying steady?

Nice to see someone as nuts as I am. I still use coco coir but only about 3 cup worth it leaves large areas uncovered and the snakes shove it around the outside mostly. They also usually 'go' in the corners and edges so typically where the substrate is.

I hate paper towel too and have one very very shy snake that simply will not eat if picked up for at least 2 weeks. She is very frustrating. Rescue, when will I learn?

In the 2 hours that I've switched my temps have been much more stable, so I think this solved it. In regards to the rescue, I don't know how you do it! I would be going nuts from stress!

Andrew, Nice to meet you, Alex. I try not to let it get to me and obsess over temps and humitdy instead. I have currently 4 rescues, 2 are problematic. They were true rescues 2 from the spca who refused to feed or heat them... and one was a special needs snake (she is a real sweetheart) and the shy girl from someone who just gave up on trying to feed her.

I gotta hand it to you. I wouldn't have the patience to handle rescues.
