    Re: Super pastel question???

Ok to clarify I didn't really think she was ghost but someone said she looked ghost the last time I posted pictures of her and said to check the shed for pattern so I was just curious if that were true or not. Her shed is clear no pattern whatsoever. So I was just curious.

Here are a couple pics that are a little better...

And her with my other pastel female...

    Close up of her head...

I bought her as a possible super but only paid 125 for her. What pointed me toward super was the pattern, the faded head and the white lips. Any way you go I'm really excited to breed her. Part of me hopes she isn't a super because I would think if she was bred to the right male pastel she would make some pretty awesome supers.

Thanks for the insight and all the compliments guys

I see all super in her with that head. And, your other pastel is really HOT! Wow. Good luck in your future plans with them.

I can throw in two pennies to that, if
She is a ghost they tend to have a different feel when you touch their scales it feels a little more like the pre shed touch you feel on a normal bp or other morph. It feels almost like silky dusty. Lol i hope I make sense. There is some white that would make me think ghost but it looks like

    Pastel Ghost
    Pastel het Ghost
    Maybe a Super
Good luck and Congrats on a great steal either way.

A Ghost will shed clear, if there are any markings in the shed it's not a ghost....

What did you do to that first picture

Yea first pic was with flash in a dark room the other photos had no flash taken during the day. And as stated the shed was clear I'll be checking future sheds also to confirm the lack of pigment in the shed.

Looks like a Pastel Hypo to me...Good score for $125!!!

You need to breed something Hypo, or at least 100% Het Hypo to her!

    Looks super pastel to me

I just don't see anything screaming hypo about it, our boy color was way different, I know both pastel and hypo are pretty variable but still looks super to me rather than hypo
