    How do you keep your females from killing the males after breeding? I attempted keeping and breeding yellow rumps years ago and my female killed my male immediately after breeding.

    It is so creepy, and only because you put them on a spoon.

    They are fascinating little buggers though. I'm not keen on spiders but some of the Ts are so pretty.

    Every once in a while I won't be able to save the male, but typically I'm right there with a camera in one hand an my "male saving stick" (a.k.a. ruler) in the other hand. If either shows any evidence of having ulterior motives I quickly remove the male and try again later.
