Have any idea what species of snake I can house comfortably in a 40ish gallon tank with sliding screen top (for its whole life)? I also thought Dumerils but those get on the larger side... The tank is 3 feet long by 1 and a half wide by 1 and a half feet tall.
You're welcome. I'm just glad to help. Sure, there are many dwarf boas out there that would be comfortable in the size you are talking about. I'm a boa guy, so it makes sense that I would suggest a boa. There are also many other species that would be comfortable in a 40 gallon.
