    I've got the cure..

I know with it only being in the 50's and rainy here in the Not-so-Sunshine State of Florida, I needed a cure to warm up my day, so I can only imagine how some of you blizzard people feel!

So, I made homemade chicken pot pie for dinner

    Come 'n get it!

Haha, and go through ALL that blizzard mess? NOOOOO thanks! I'm a Florida girl, born and raised.. I was 11 months old the last time I saw snow! I'd be an icicle by the time I got there

But you're more than welcome to come get some!

    Very simple!

2 cans of cream of chicken soup
    2 chicken breasts
    4-5 potatoes
    2 packs of biscuit mix

Peel, cube, boil, and drain potatoes.
Cube, season, and bake chicken at 400 degrees.
Mix potatoes, chicken, and soup together in a bowl thoroughly.
Pour into a 9x9 baking pan.
Fix biscuit mix according to directions on the packets. It should be found in the baking aisle of the grocery store, and usually all you have to add is milk or water.
Pour the biscuit mix over the mixture in the pan, covering completely so that it's "sealed".
Put in the oven at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, or until the biscuit topping rises and is browned.
Spread butter on the topping and put back in the oven, making sure it is turned off, just to melt the butter.

I'm sure veggies could be added if you'd like, but I have picky eaters in my house, so they would just be picked out.

Well, surprisingly there's some left.. So, the best I can offer is to mail it and hope the post office doesn't eat it before it makes it there
