    Hmm okay thanks everyone, and thanks for those pics. The rat is a tad bigger than the widest part of my bp, but its very long and just huge. I think I'll stick to feeding small rats every 5 days. It's just that the next size up from 60g rats is 130g, which sucks.
    I know not to give in when he's hungry all the time...but I also need a new scale.

    ON THAT NOTE: Anyone know where I can get some good scales for measuring snake weight???

    For every 15-foot python out in the Everglades, there are thousands of species of clams, trees, cats, grasses and birds that are wrecking just as much havoc across the globe. So, for all the headaches the snakes are causing, I at least applaud them for being scary enough to get people's attention.

    Check reptile basics, they have some nice scales.
