we didnt say anything for a good minute or so, we just looked at each other and then he said how sorry he was and how she never does that kinda thing

Keep in mind this is a private breeder, he runs out of his house (hes in Orillia if I remember correctly)

So it was just me and him, was a really awkward moment lol

    Lol glad you enjoyed it

And yeah they can strike at pretty much any angle, they can even strike at 180 degrees, its crazy

Yeah I dont think I could own an aggresive, unpredictable, 10 foot plus snake lol. If they were at least predictable I would be able to handle it a bit better

Sorry but that is hilarious how you described it

As for the OP's issue, When you go to pick your BP up, do something that changes the current situation and take him out of "angry/nervous" mode. Mist him with a spray bottle or put a small towel over his head. Swiftly then scoop him up. You said the snake is only around 200 to 250 Grams?? LOL... come on now thats little

Put on a winter leather or work glove and let the little devil bite all he wants. You'll get used to getting tagged without the pain/shock and maybe he'll learn that striking won't prevent you from picking him up.

Make a little game out of it. Amazing how much bravery you'll show when you you know the bite won't hurt.

    Good Luck!
