Yup, it's very stable. These are stackable storage shelves so they're made to be stable. Here's a pic of a newly born clutch:

I love how snake people refer to litters as a clutch. 
Nice rack. It does look like it will tip over any moment, but if you've been using it for a year with no problems it must work great. The only thing I'd be concerned with is that it doesn't provide the rats much space (one momma and a litter would get crowded really fast when they start growing) and for the price, doesn't hold much.
