I'm in Florida, and it's been storming ALL day. It's pretty yucky looking out there. Thankfully I haven't had to go out in it *yet* but may have to later. Yall be safe!!

Re: southeast gettin hammered
It's been snowing here since about 6:00am. That's rare, because the snow usually passes us by and we just get the rain...

i was watching TV and even the coast where its warmer and usually rains is even getting it pretty bad. it could be worse, you could be in florida with snow and the enormous pythons running loose in the snow!

It "snowed" here about 2 weeks ago in Jacksonville, which is in Northeast Florida. I never saw it, but everyone was all excited because it "snowed".. In reality, it consisted of a few flurries for about an hour, and none of it even stuck. That doesn't even count in my book. The last time it snowed here was back in '89 and I was too young to remember.

My brother lives in MISS and he said they got about 4 inches. here in Chicago we just brush that off and go about our day. Be safe to all of you that never have to deal with the snow and ice.
