DO NOT SMELL LIKE MICE, RATS, OR SNAKES because you WILL get tagged. Just found this our myself. I have a great Florida King who has never bit, hissed and is overall a great guy. Held a cornsnake an hour before holding him. Didn't wash hands. BAM! He bit my finger, wrapped my hand and proceeded to work his way to the tip of my finger to eat it. It freakin hurt! I also have one. he has never tried to bite or any one, ever. They are actually the better tempered of the king snakes. Just as long as you keep him well fed and dont smell like food yourself, you'll be fine
