Breeding enclosure size and feeding during breeding season?

Yeah she's fine - I raised temps back up and since i did that she ate 1 small mouse as a starter and week later a small rat (I will feed again today). 3 days after feeding I dropped the male in and she was tail wagging a lot, but I didn't notice any lock ups.
Anyway I'm happy she's eating again. Male is also eating .

I put the males with the females. I figure this is better than carting the females around that may be gravid. My females cages are 32 quart tubs. I separate the breeding pairs to feed, and wait three days after feeding to pair them again.

No she didn't - last time she took a dump was september 17 (I weight them after each dump ;p), so she just lost weight by not eating I guess. She stoped eating at the begining of spetember and I was sure that it's the breeding season (when she started refusing food I still had the temps up at normal, and I started decreasing already 2 weeks after she stopped feeding).

Hmm so what do u guys think is she ready for breeding this year or not, since she lost so much weight in over a month? Or is there a way I can make her eat to at least keep the weight as it is? She is a bit over 2 years and had 1600g when went off feed, now she's 1500g.

Snakes grow at different rates. I have 1.5 year olds ranging from 800-1700g.

I also have some 07 and older only 1500-2500.

Everything is fed on 5 days or 7 days after they hit the 400g mark.

2 years old and 1600 grams is pretty normal, at least in my collection
I have some larger and some smaller than that at that age.
Our black pastel female hit 2000 grams at 20 months old.

Keeping them eating during breeding season is nice, I've been lucky enough to have my females eat me out of house and home till they ovulate

Well I've been feeding her 1 rat a week (ofc as she grew I gave bigger rats).
She's still eating and I keep pairng her with my male but nothing is happening so far ;(
