Re: Help!!
Hi,
Are we talking mice or rats here?
Pinkie mice are really too small to bother feeding them with - tiny hatchlings get fuzzy's but most can eat small "hopper" mice no problem.
If she has been kept on a restricted diet I would possibly feed her every 5 days - I tend to stick to that schedule until they get to around 4-500g.
But if they miss one I wait until the next scheduled feeding day before offering again as you can actually make them less likely to eat if you keerp pestering them with food.

Re: Help!!
My friend had a similar situation happen with duck tape. Ya I know, really stupid. Yet his snake had tearing. Needless to say, since his skin was still attached to him and the duct tape, I gently pulled the skin off the tape and put it to the exposed area. My friend was flipping out and couldn't watch. Next day, he took it to the vet, where they gave him a small antibiotic shot. The snake is full grown now and has had no problems from its injuries and had no feeding problems.
I can only speak on what my friend did and left him alone for a week and see if he feeds. Good luck, I'm sure he will be just fine.

I would say yes, because they're pretty much developed, but just small. If you're talking hopper mice, go for the rat equivalent which would be a fuzzy, because they aren't as developed so can't harm your snake as easily as a hopper would (and hoppers tend to go for the EYES :S)
And good idea, just keep her on live until she's settled in and an established eater, then you can attempt the switch to F/T.

Ok well last question then. Turns out the shop I can use doesn't have hoppers or rat pups this week. Should I try 2 pinkies?
