the shed was tearing along the ridge of his back so I couldnt get the perfect shot, Im not doing it intentionally I like him if he is a ghost or not just want to asses it for future breeding purposes and what not. I hope those 2 new ones help I will be more than happy to take a pic of them away from the wall or on a dif surface but I thought it would come out the best ont he wall and easy to mount. let me know im open to suggestions just want to get to the bottom of it. THANKS to everyone

It looks like a pastel ghost to me!

It's certainly not just a pastel.

I don't see any pattern - that's for sure. Have you contacted the breeder you got him from with updated pictures of him now that he has some size on him to see if he still believes he's just a het hypo?

nope should I. hes a pretty nice guy but he was almost rude, kept correcting me and saying it was just a het LOL. Ill have to forward him some pics and see what he thinks. I think he is gorgeous though even though I dont really have a desire to steer into the ghost direction. and if he is a ghost he is a green ghost and I havent seen any green ghosts for sale ANYWHERE .

THis is probably irrelvent but I chose him because of his vlushing on the head its almost a super pastel. does this also correlate with hypos? random lol

Yeah, that's a pretty clear shed IMO. I have multiple sheds left over from a baby pastel if you want to compare?

(Did anybody else see: "I finally have a shed from him, now what?" and think: "Sell it on Craigslist for $20" ?)

i almost thought that was a ghost or super before i read all the post.

my pastel's shed always has the blacks and sections of blushings on the shed.
i didnt know that a clear shed is an indication of ghost-ness. since i know mine is a
normal pastel and i have complete sheds of his in perfect condition
(i love collecting them. have been since they all came home.)
i can post them and you can have a normals shed to compare to your GORGEOUS dudes!

    hands down

one of the nicest "pastels" i have ever seen! congrats!
