yea those are the two choices right now...
San Antonio - his sister lives there and I love the river walk and downtown area..
San Diego - we would stay at this hotel that is on base but right on the water with a private beach and fire rings...
And no...we are not go out and party people...we use to have a large yearly party at the house but ya know after a few years of doing that.....you just find out too too much about ppl when they get drunk...lol....not to mention it cost about the same as a vacation.

I've never been to Texas, but San Diego is a great town... my brother lives there, and I love to visit at LEAST once a year. I would also suggest coming up here to San Francisco, but that may be pushing your limit on driving time - plus most of our New Year's Eve activities aren't very "child-friendly," LOL.

You could do what I do and stay home all by your lonesome and wish you had money or friends to go out with. That's always fun. -lol-

Heh,
Of course if time and travel were no hinderance you could go to either the north or south poles and celebrate in every timezone just by staggering slowly round the pole.
You may need help for the latter stages of course. And possibly a bucket to be carried home in.

Everyone could have there own leeeetle time zone New Years party in BP-net chat. It may not be all that big with different time zones, but at least you won't be home alone doing nothing.
Well hey, looks like I have something to do on new years now!

You better start making your New Years chat party invites right now. There's nothing worse than throwing a party that nobody goes to....that's what BG hears anyway.

I've never thrown a party that went un-attended, back in the good 'ole days.
Hahaha.
