    Ralph Davis Lessers ?

On kingsnake i saw an add for Ralph Daivs line of lessers. What's the difference between his and lets say bhb's lessers? And are they compatible with other lessers?

Ralph's lesser if bought from Ralph come from his Platty Daddy stuff..it might be two or three generations down the line but still some people get a kick out of knowing their lesser's great great great great grandfather was platty daddy. Our original male is one of Platty daddy's sons from way back in 2003. But it's not something I take into account..

    Hope that helps..

P.S there have been other lesser's imported since RDR's original Platty so unlike spider's they all didn't come from the same sire..

Aren't all "lessers" from the RDR line? As far as I'm concerned, the only lessers from a different line are butters.

Depends on how you look at it.. I know EbN imported a "Lesser" a few years ago and seems like TSK did as well..

If you consider the name as coming from the Platty only stuff then I guess. But you'd have a hard time convincing other's that if it isn't from Platty then its a butter..

Not necessarily Freaks. You can get...and most likely will get a Lesser from RDR that is not from his "Platty daddy stuff". You'll pay extra for this. The only way you have one of these is in fact if you do pay extra and his Royal Heinous says it's one.

BG knows you said "if bought from", but most will not be from this line when bought from RDR. Most will be normal Lessers.

I would think that all of RDR's lessers came from his platty daddy originally, somewhere back in their history--unless they've been bred to sibs to check them, then, they might carry the 'daddy' gene. (Low chance, if they're many generations down, but still not impossible). I can't imagine he's bought lessers from other lines?

So did RDR import some fresh blood or are you referring to them not being direct descendants of Daddy and simply being Lessers..

RDR had a couple of them(Platty daddy's), but unless you get one that came directly from a Platty Daddy breeding, it's not one of the ones he asks more money for.

He did have a couple, but BG is saying your second point. They must be from a Platty Daddy breeding to be the more valuable Lessers. They can't be nephews or nieces.
