somethings wrong

my blood python was (a week ago) doing great! fat as can be, very active! and now she looks like she is about to die any second now. everything is perfect, the temp is good, the humidity level is right, she has water, and i have been feeding her a live small mouse every week. i tried to feed her 3 days ago and she didnt eat so i fed her again 2 days ago and she ate, so today i checked on her and there was regurgitation in the tub....... and now she just looks very lame. i changed everything, clean the crap out of everything, the smell is completely gone and she is just sitting half in her water dish sideways (still alive though) please help!!!

A good reptile vet is your best chance IMO and would go asap!!! I would also double and triple check my temps and such just to be sure they are all accurate. Sorry to hear things are not looking good and I wish the best for you and your snake.

From my understanding, regurgitation happens when the prey is too large, the temps aren't warm enough to allow digestion, the snake is incredibly stressed out, or there is some underlying pathology.

A small mouse probably isn't too big so I doubt that's the issue. What are your temps and humidity and what are you reading them with? And does the snake have proper security spots?

I'd have to agree with Boanerges though...a trip to the vet is your best bet.

One week seems like a pretty short time frame for a blood to go from thriving to being on death's door. What other symptoms, along with the regurge (which is concerning), are you noticing? If it were me and one of my animals went downhill that quickly without any apparent cause, I would start wondering two things...was the animal really that healthy before, or did I miss/not notice something? or what kind of fast-acting environmental factors could be at work (e.g. cleaning solution that was used, possible injury from the mouse, etc.). I would think that even if your temps and humidity are a bit off, your animal would not go from 100% to almost dead within a week. Are there any RI symptoms? What is the age and size of the snake? How long have you had it? Pics of the set up and animal are always helpful.
