as long as quality is not compromised. Better to have one bangin' pastel than two wack looking ones.

not sure $200 can get you a female lesser/butter these days, but maybe a female mojo?

Hit the nail on the head. A smoking hot pastel can be mixed with anything and looking good. An average pastel has to be selectively bred to make select things look good.

I think a female Mojave would be hard pressed at that price and it better be local. When you kick in shipping the breeder is looking at less than $150 for a female mojave. With it as late in the season as it is I don't think people are going to be willing to take price hits on any quality females that have probably already started packing on weight.

Would hate to have someone end up with a picky eater due to trying to buy a bargain basement animal late in the season. Honestly things like being a picky eater and the like are hard to go back and fault the breeder for. Ultimately they can guarantee sex and health for so long, but the fact that an animal doesn't eat every week or even every two weeks is difficult since even if you buy it at a show they are normally stressed out upon arrival and then you throw in new environmental conditions and everything else... Late in the season like this you can bet bargain basement animals have some kind of baggage with them probably more than 50% of the time.
