Big Gunns has set the line at 10 more "times". So what you guys got?

It seems you have been stricken by the dreaded BG OCD. It's very common and only has one cure. Turn off the computer. Prove BG wrong Smitty.
I can only assume by your lack of an an answer to my questions, that Japan is in fact, not violating any national or international laws in regard to whaling or dolphin fishing..

So please tell me what your SSC is doing? Tell me is who is acting illegally?

BTW, I've been inoculated against the BG bug.

Not exactly 100% on topic, but still pertaining to Sea sheperd.
Besides the fact that they are "eco terrorists" one of the primary reason I dislike sea shepard is this article:http://www.seashepherd.org/news-and-...-100821-1.html I enjoy keeping fish almost as much as herps and I don't belive we should be endorsing an organization that wants to take away our right to own most any pet.

Does this help you with your sickness at all?

In 1986 the IWC declared a moratorium on whaling. Japan is a member. Now since the IWC doesn't really have any "authority" to enforce it. It could be viewed that Japan doesn't have to abide by it. So whether or not they are "technically" breaking the "law" would need to be settled in court somewhere. Japan likes to say they say they are doing "scientific research". We both know that's crap Smitty. You can keep arguing this, but it's kinda useless. You think what you want...and BG will think what he wants. Can we at least agree to disagree?

Don't you have a home fire drill to do or something?

As you can "clearly" see Big Gunns answered your question 4 PAGES AGO. Just because you didn't like BG's answer, does that mean he has to say it 100000000000000times? "Only a fool argues with someone who knows they're right"....and only a ***fill in blank***** continues to try.....over...and over....and over....and over...and over....and over....and over....and over....and over.....and over.....and over......and over......and over......and over......and over.....and over.....until infinity....AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!!

Obviously they are not for everyone, and BG totally gets that.

Remember everyone BG put the over under at 10. This is two. There's still time to get your bets in. BG is thinking of raising it to 1000 though.

    That better Liz?????

Re: We all loved Steve Irwin....well do it for him then.

Neil, you said whaling, but what whaling laws. That's what I was looking for. But we can forget about that part, since you do recongnize that they really aren't violating any national or international laws, just Neil Gunns laws.

But onto the dolphin fishing taking place in Japan, in Japanese territorial waters, within the land and law of the Japanese government.

So, by your own account, they aren't violating any dolphin fishing laws. Why is the SSC group and Neil Gunn interfering with law abiding Japanese citizens doing their job?

Japanese government officials have defended the right to hunt dolphins.
"There are some countries that eat cows, and there are other countries that eat whales or dolphins," Yutaka Aoki, fisheries division director at Japan's Foreign Ministry, told the AP.

So why are you calling the kettle black? How much beef do you personally eat every year Neil Gunn? This is okay in your culture, but eating beef is a religious travesty for other in the world. In fact, cattle are only raised for consumption. There are no wild groups of cattle, so this entire group of animal is NOW used to feed your culture. Just think what other cultures could say about that.

I do have one question for you abuot illegal dolphin fishing. Why isn't your precious SSC group going to Peru, where almost as many dolpins are killed each year and it is ILLEGAL to fish for dolphins. Why Japan, where it is still legal. We won't even talk about the Faroe Island or the Solomon's Island.

I also think that it's conveniently forgotten that there is a fishing season in Japan. Dolphins are not harvested 24/7 365. There is a quota that is established by the Japanese government. Did you know that these dolphin fishermen DO return a number of dolphins to the sea? Not all dolphins that are caught are harvested.

This is 3. This BG OCD has got to be hard on family members. It's hard enough on the staff here, but family members must really be going nuts when they have loved ones affected.

BG will say this though to your last 2 sentences. Did you forget that BG was there? Big Gunns knows 1000 times more than you what's really going on. Do some more research...BG had a blog. BG is glad you're doing your research though, and now you know that some Bottlenose(only them) are released after witnessing most of their family slaughtered. Glad to see you've taken the time to do some research.

You have the ability to overlook what you can't defend and key on some obscure inner message that only you get.

If you have nothing constructive to add to this conversation, goodbye.
