Yes. DIY ( do it yourself ). I am also interested to see what people say. I am also in the market for one. I have plans to build one in the future but next year the most I will have is 2 clutches. So I don't need a big freezer just yet. But hopefully I will in the years to come

I used the hovabator last year.. jsut had 1 clutch.. Found a Wine cooler for free ( circuit board melted) and made one this year. All I need is the thermistat and it's ready.
It is perfect for 2 tubs, already had a fan and cirulating setup on it, front glass door and the racks were perfect hight for the tubs to fit.
Was planning on making pics when it is done..

I'm still saving up for an incubator, along with a crap ton more stuff but the one I'll be getting is from ThinkGeek.com for $100. I've seen the same fridge/incubator for sale on another site for almost 3xs as much as this one, only difference was someone stuck a sticker on it and said for reptiles only.

Re: What incubator do u use ??
True coolers are awesome, last year we used a 3 shelf "coke" true cooler and it worked perfect.
$400 total into the Coke cooler t-stat and everything.
In my area they average $200 not working or low on freon on craigslist.

This season I have a larger one for more clutches and my partner took his home, lol.
I have less into this one, due to the cost of the cooler itself being cheaper, than my partner put into the coke cooler.

I don't think you can buy an incubator that will hold as many clutches for anywhere near the same price,
and I doubt it would work any better...

Tiny, very tiny
Inside measurements are even smaller, this is the outside measurements.
Unit dimensions: 12.5” x 13.5” x 17.5”
I have no experience using one but I've been told/read they suck at holding a stable temperature.
4 cubic foot mini fridges are cheap or free off of craigslist.
My first season I used one and it worked sweet for a single clutch, add a fan and it would hold 3 tubs no problem.
I used a cheapo thermostat(never again) and after all was bought I had less than $60 into it.
