I have different beliefs about war and our government and I usually keep them to myself because it tends to upset some people.

    I don't see it.

If a war with korea/china were suppose to be WWIII then we had WWIII in the 50s, we called it the Korean War.

Actually, I've been watching this economic trade with China the past decades and man, I can see how the Chinese is gaining power over the US. They can't fight us militarily, so they fight us economically. Okay, that's just a spin on the situation, not saying it is China's intent.

So, N Korea is under Chinese' thumb. They're basically tied to the hip. Kim Jong Il cannot do anything unless China supports them.

Now, America supports S. Korea. Let's say China wants to flex its muscle... they can get Kim Jong Il to do something stupid at the same time that China dumps the dollar. What do you think the US will do? Do more TSA pat downs?

Guys, I'm not American. I can see how America is getting weak. The Philippines is booming from all the American businesses moving there. They can't even wage a proper war without imploding on politics. Heck, they can't even run intelligence without having to do crevice check on random nuns and 5 year olds. It's a joke.

That's just my take on things. I'm no expert, of course.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

To be honest i can see why people from Europe and other countries mock us and turn the US into a joke, it's because it is. I don't hate the USA but im not proud of it either. Our government is so far up every bodies butts that they might as well have camera's in all of our homes that watch our every movement, it's getting ridiculous.

Re: Feeling, on the possibility of WWIII?

i think no war right now in future yes nuclear yes draft god help us if they do because if u think about it when they drafted before wat were most americans doing? working yes but not working like we do now back during WWI and WWII they were busting their butts working for their money not sitting in offices or sittin on their butts collecting unemployment (im not bashing these ppl i have done it too) im just saying look at Korea they have ppl who are still busting their butts working hard for their money and they would be stronger than us man to man

the U.S. Military only makes up less than 1% of the U.S. Population North Korea is pretty small and im pretty sure everyone there would fight for their country regardless of their disabilities or anything like that.

if they do a draft then awesome i would be first in line i would love to get back into the service but since i left on bad terms (long story) i dont think they will take me back.. BUMMER

well i better stop my little rant and thats just my 2 cents take it or leave it

What is ridiculous is that our government borrows from China and then when N. Korea squawks...we send them money. So lets see....

China supports N. Korea.......we borrow money from China......then we send money to N. Korea to behave...hmmmmmmmmmmm. Can you say ....well ...you get it I can't write that word here....lol

Not to mention the fact that we borrow from China......then donate to Pakistan or anyone else for that matter????? Seriously We are so far up our yippers in debt to China its quite scary!!!

Re: Feeling, on the possibility of WWIII?

I think that if there will ever be a WWIII, it will be a religious war, not a war based on real estate. Conventional war is too expensive today. No country could sustain a war based on taking over of another country's land.

However a religious war wouldn't have any fronts, no standing army fighting over a piece of land. It will however come to everyone's home. Imagine fighting occuring all around the world, from one street corner to another street corner.

Kinda like what's happening over in the Israeli area of the world.

    Just one man's opinion,
    Jim Smith

The only reason a fight between North and South Korea would become a world war is because so many countries have forgotten how to stay out of each others' business. This is fine if you're working toward a world government, but not so great when everyone's doing it half-arsed, for no particular reason other than apparent military boredom.
