large female
i just got a very large African import and she almost looks gravid, should i still put a few males in with her and see if they hook up or should i wait till next season?

I would not pair her until I know shes got a clean bill of health. You dont want her getting your collection sick, esp if shes coming from Africa

Always quarantine I do atleast 60 days. After the 60 days then I would try , best of luck to you

As I understand it, newly imported girls rarely "go" right away anyhow. It can take them a year or more to settle into captivity enough to be comfortable mating. Plus, of course, as already mentioned, QT and making sure she is completely free of any parasites is a must before introducing her to the rest of your collection.
