    Define an "ugly spider". Some people like high white sides...some prefer the low white...some people like busy patterns, some like reduced patterns...some like the high gold, and some like darker colors.

    In ALL breeding endeavors...to get the best results, one should start with the best parents....but what is considered "best" will vary a great deal from person to person.
