    She's HOT!
I don't mind at all telling you where she came from. The breeder of this female is Terry Heuring, who sold the entire clutch to a good friend of mine Kyle. I traded Kyle a 500+ gram female lemon pastel for this pastel and $200. When I saw her I just had to have her. The same day that I worked the deal with Kyle I approached Terry with the animal and double checked what Kyle had told me (about her being a regular pastel). Terry said "The sire was a pastel and the dam was a wild caught female, that to my knowledge is just a normal". I take anything Terry says very seriously as he is one of the foremost breeders in Alabama and has been breeding for 20+ years. However, whatever is going on in this girl it sure makes for a stunning pastel (at least in my opinion).

I just wonder if the WC was a ugly vanilla or fire. How did the rest of the clutch look?
I remember awhile back someone was sold a "normal" pastel and found out later the breeder made a mistake and it was actually a vanilla pastel. Looked very similar to your girl.

I only saw the other pastels from the clutch, but none of them looked at all like she does. They were very yellow also, but they didn't have faded heads like hers or the orange blushing coming up the sides.

I'll post some pictures later this evening of her belly.
