That's cool, I know quite a few people who arn't over-weight but just want to build mass or get toned. Which I just want to get toned, not muscular! lol
Ooh I am preparing myself for the pain! Thank you Jim!

Awesome workout! But be prepared for the commitment...sometimes up to 1 1/2 hours a night 6-7 days a week. I like the variety in the workouts (you're not doing the same thing every day) and also the fact that you can switch up the workout depending on what you want to achieve. Invest in a good chin-up bar (I have the kind that goes in the door frame) and resistance bands or weights (I like the weights, personally). And diet is a HUGE component so don't ignore that aspect if you want to take full advantage of the workouts!! Trust me, with the time and effort you put into the workouts, you won't want anything to affect the results so you'll find yourself instinctively wanting to eat better... Good luck!

Oh I am so ready, I've been putting it off for awhile. But I still need a chin up bar, my cousin might actually have one somewhere in our weight room. I am not completely sure how I want to customize it yet, I think I might just do the entire work out in the beginning. Want to focus more on my core for the most part. As for diet, I am still trying to figure out what to have as a recovery drink. What did you use? I know it's just the protein you need for muscle repair.

I am planning on starting it after Christmas and doing it until I leave for basic training. Did you do any extra cardio while do p90x??
I've watched bits and pieces of the videos and can't wait to get started with the program.

You will need one to one and a half hours, 6 days a week for the program. It may be difficult to add cardio on top of that. But if you have the time, it surely wouldn't hurt to add as much cardio as you can.
Good Luck!
