    heating

    as of right now i use a heat lamp for my bp i was told to use a uth is this a better heat source so should i change to the uth or use both

    Only switch to a UTH if you have a thermostat to control it. Plugging a heat pad directly into the wall is just a disaster waiting to happen. I would say if you can set aside $100 you can get a nice thermostat and some heat pads so you wont have to worry about heat every again. I recommend going to ReptileBasics.com and getting your supplies there.

    Buy thermostat First or both at same time.

    Under tank heaters can get hot enough to cause blisters to the snakes under side.
