    Talking

    Hear, hear!

We all have to start somewhere. None of us ever stop learning and we should never try to impede others from doing the same. What may seem obvious to some, may be a complete enigma to others, especially with subtle morphs like YBs.

Just my two cents. Though, I have to admit, I did chuckle at Tim's post. You have a nice YB, Anatess

Ok, my husband and kids are now getting upset with me because they won't give me back my "real" normal... The normal is supposed to go live in the school. They don't really care about morph-whatever... they like the nice golden color and pattern of the normal one. And she is more easy-going with the handling. Now the school is going to get my yb! What a conundrum!

Ok, just so I understand... the completely white belly with the smudged edges is the indicator, right? And then the yellow color in-between the aliens on the sides that look like flames? Because the normal one is actually more yellow than the yb...

Re: 09 Yellow Belly? What do you think?

    Hi,

Yep that kind of marbled, speckled belly border and pronounced flames are markers for the morph.

Yellow bellies don't really need to have yellow bellies - but they do tend to have more yellow at the edges of the belly and up into the pattern.

Since the school don't care then they can have the little normal and you keep the yellowbelly - and if they don't like it then they can buy you a new yellowbelly as a replacement so you can still work towards ivories in the future.

The school doesn't care, but my husband and kids don't want to give up the normal! Sigh.

    Keep both, get another normal.

And yes, those aspects of the belly are what indicates a YB!
