very nice normal.. did anyone watch the video?? the ax comment sounded like it was more of a joke, and they guy followed it up with "but it was just a boa constrictor" as in.. harmless little boa..

These dudes are funny.. "he grabbed it lightly, and gently" .. "I grabbed it, all manly like"

I laughed so hard when they said that in the video.

I thought the coverage was very fair to the BP. Part of the reason though was because those 2 guys were such characters that they provided the entertainment factor for the story. If the person that found it was terrified and hated snakes, then the coverage may have turned into a "killer monster snake" story.

Much respect to the guy that grabbed the snake. It took a lot of guts to do that assuming that he didn't have any prior experience with snakes.

Well I'm glad it turned out well for the snake, thank goodness the neighbors didn't let them hurt it.

And what's with the comment ?
“I was just gonna hit it with an axe or something, but it was a boa constrictor,” said Ed Oliveira, the roommate.

So because it was a boa, it's what ? Gonna dodge the axe and eat you anyway ? It's made of steel and the axe wouldn't hurt it ? It would swallow you axe and all ?

I hope for the sake of that lovely animal, the neighbor can contact the owner and return it. I bet the owner was heartbroken and thought he'd never see it again.
