    There were no other issues with the shed. His hides are kind of rough, that's all I can figure. They're supposed to look like "natural rock"
    I keep my snakes on paper towels.

    Thanks for the suggestions! I'll do what you said and keep a sharp eye on him. It'd help if he actually let me see his face when I take him out.
