    Four stitches after having a small benign tumor removed from my knee... Six more when they decided they didn't take enough flesh out.

    I have had quite a few stitches and a TON of staples. The staples are from all the skin grafts due to a house fire and you can still see a lot of scars on me from them...

    I've had 4 stiches on my left eyebrow from playing basketball, 4 in my head from getting hit with a metal object during a fight, a couple in my back from a stab wound from another fight and a couple more from two surgeries on my gums to remove a tooth that was shattered from getting shot with a BB gun when I was young.

    I have probably about 20 sitting in my abdomen right now. I had hernia surgery 2 weeks ago and they did the stiches inside, and then GLUED my skin back together over it. I guess for minimal scarring. Works for me.

    Re: Have you ever gotten stitches?

    I got bitten in the back of my head by a german shepherd when I was 3. It took something like 7 hours of surgery and 170 stitches to close me up.

    Then another 5 in my face after a waterskiing accident.

    A couple more from minor surgeries after that too...

    Good lord -.-;;;

    This is a squirmy topic to read. lol

    For being as unco-ordinated as I am, I havent had many tale worthy injuries. Only stitches Ive had so far are the five after birthing my son.
