Very rich looking normals. Did you soak them or put something on them before you took the pictures?

Re: Is this a common Ball Python or a diferent morph?

The picture was treated in photoshop, but no color change or enhancement was aplied. Just birghtness, contrast, shadow and highlights intensity. Same as the other picture, taken from the female. To the naked eye, he is darker and the reds come up when flash or sunlight is on him. The litle guy is indeed diferent from most of the normal P. regius I've seen. I guess he's an abnormal normal!

If you post more pics, it'd be useful if you don't alter anything. Contrast is sometimes a big deal in coloration of a snake(morph or normal).

Both look like very nice normals. I've seen a few that were lovely almost mahogny colored with crisp edges. Never underestimate a really nice normal.

Oh! I see. Here go the same pictures with no editing.

Although I would say the treated ones look more like him, hehe.
I will try to get some other pictures soon.

Thanks for all the help. You guys are really nice.

    Regards,

Re: Is this a common Ball Python or a diferent morph?

i know that pics are always different and on my monitor its looks so, and on yours looks maybe different. on my monitor it looks not really like a normal. at least like no normal ive seen!

at my monitor this snake is dark brown, or cinnamonish. never seen this before.

i would definatly hang on to him. u have a very nice dinker there. animals that doesnt look extrem as yours, have done major cool stuff when crossed into other stuff.

I made a little video of him, now its easy to see his real coloration. It is a video, but the colors came out 99% acurate.

I wouldn't be surprised if he is in shed in those pics. Since we can't see his belly I can't say much. I'm going with completely normal though.

Just for fun, here is a picture of four of my normal girls that will hopefully breed for me this year. As you can tell, they are four different colors, and none were in shed.

Robin if you see this pic, your two girls on in there! They are both 1,300~ grams. The really brown one up front, and the funky brightish one in the middle is her sister. She keeps getting brighter, it's really weird.

He's super nice-looking, whether he is normal or not.

On a side note, is he always eating pinky mice or was that just for the video?

Re: Is this a common Ball Python or a diferent morph?

He is very dark and I don't think that is related to shed, he was exactly the same in the previous shed. He came out completely diferent from the others in the same hatch. He is also completely diferent from all the four variations you posted. beautifull snakes by the way. Guess I have to wait and see what he will become.

    Thanks for all the comments.

    Regards.
