Update on my 'het red-like' lesser...

I bred this guy...


to this girl...


and got this clutch...


I don't know if there's some kind of het red type of gene going on with the mother or if this is just an oddball kind of thing, but out of all the lessers I hatched out this year, they've all had some sort of striping down their backs. Both Corey Woods and Ralph Davis said that he doesn't quite look right for a het red lesser so who knows. I'm currently pumping him to try hopefully breed back to his mother this coming season and find out if there's anything to it. Either way I think he's smoking hot!

No sir, I haven't got around to adding any het red stuff to the collection yet. It's been on the list for a while but there's just soooo many other things on the list as well. With some of the combos that are being produced with them though I might have to bump it up on the list pretty soon here.

I know you work with het red stuff, I'd love to hear your opinion on this one. Nothing more than a dinker until I can breed him back to mom, but feel free to build my hopes up or tear them down.
