Welcome to BP.net
1. Female needs to be at least 1600g
2. Most begin introducing end of Oct. or earlier
3. Pair for 2-3 days then give male a rest for 3 days

I'm sorry I can't give you any experience in this area as I don't have any it just really irks me when someone replies with a useless post.

Professional links providing you with detailed information and help is better than "stories".
Make sure your spider and normal are proper size for breeding
Females- 1600 grams+
Males- 700+
Try reading the links provided to you until somone posts you with a "Storie".
Good luck,
payson!

Storie? You mean Story? You could read how to breed a ball python over and over but it's peoples personal experiences or your own that you will truly learn from. I read all I could about popping ball pythons but until I saw someone actually do it. There are some things that text just cant teach.
Also I'm pretty sure that 500g's or more is fine for a male. Just make sure you don't over exhaust him and hopefully he will continue to eat while pairing.
Females its probably better to wait till 1500+ grams or their third winter.
0.1 Normal - Ball Python
1.1 Piebald - Ball Python
