Re: Pastel mojave/pastel lesser X Lesser?

Last time I checked by asking questions you learn no? The whole point of this forum is for people to further their knowledge, and to be around people with the same interest. If its not "advanced" enough for you don't participate. I DO think that there should be an advanced section for bp veterans that doesn't allow first time users in. Maybe a section that requires a password or something? Therefore they can have their "advanced" debate with only "advanced" members. I do agree that there are a lot of posts of these topics, but for it to make you p*** off is being greedy with the knowledge this site has to offer. This stuff takes a while to learn, and you can't say you weren't there once.

The only thing that I have against adding a new section is that all the vets are gonna go bye bye lol. All of your help is so clutch when dicey situations arise with our animals. Some of you take a lot of pride in your detailed explanations, and I appreciate the CRAP out of that for the record. So if they do add an advanced spot, don't forget about all us noobs!!!

i dont think there should be a locked section for veterans or how u call it. why should the guys that want to learn something "left in front of the door" while "cracks" debating? that wasnt my intention.

also ive nothing against starters and starter questions. but i miss more advanced stuff here- thats it. 9 from 10 threads are from beginners that asked questions- dont get me wrong- its not their fault. they wanna learn.

its just basically the fact (at least for me) that this forum lacks some "advanced" (sorry i dont know how to better describe that) debates or theories etc.

and its the pure mass of threads where someone post a normal and ask if its a morph and the pure mass of threads where someone ask what do i get...

u guys wanna learn- I WANT TO LEARN MORE TOO!!!

but in the last time im just missing some good debates here. and im not alone with that feelin (even no other yet participated). this forum has a new nickname- its not bp. net anymore- its "is my ball a yellow belly" forum.

    just think about it.

and if they read the whole threads of what would i get, they could easily answer their own question. in almost every thread someone metion the wizard or other genetic calculators- even with a link.

click the flag and then go to select species

    or go now to "artenauswahl"

But like Dr.Del said sometimes it is inaccurate.

I think there should be a locked section, but everyone is allowed to view. You should have to have special privileges to post. I understand how you can get irritated by not being able to located the advanced posts your looking for, but how can you fix that w.o some kind of "special" section for that type of debate? Your not going to be able to stop these kinds of questions w.o isolating a section for advanced keepers, by advanced keepers. Personally I would just love to read all of your debates. I wouldn't want to chime in at all, and thats actually a pet peeve of mine. So many people on here leave pointless comments, and I think by adding this section it would leave all the "fluff" out of the debate.

and who should be allowed to use it? i mean- from what do u know he has knowledge?
a big amount of post doesnt say u have knowledge. u can answer to every picture thread and say- oh thats a nice snake. and in two weeks u have 500 post...

an advanced genetics section wouldnt be bad, but i still dont think it should be locked.

Yeah, good point. Maybe just have a special moderator with special rules? I really do think this would be an awesome addition to the site. Now that you mention it, it is kind of hard to advance your skills when there is such an abundance of lets call them "other" posts. I can see this being very beneficial for both beginner and advanced keepers.
