I use I-herp for now. I plan on getting Vyper reptile tracking soon.

    Re: Feeding/Sheding software?

Thanks to all of you. I will check into those and see what happens. I just want to keep the 26 snakes records straight and I think this will help out a lot.
Too many snakes to list. Ball pythons, Gtp's and Boa's. It easier to say it that way.

I use Vyper. In my opinion its a million times better than any cards. Cards get annoying, wont last forever and take up space.

How does a card take up space. Put them on the shelf the snake is on and your done. Once they eat write it down rather run to computer and type it all in.

And technically the card does last as long as you have more than one to replace after its full. Its easier to send with snake rather print out full pages.

What kind of tasks do you want the software to do? Microsoft Access can probably be used to create a completely custom tracking program to fit all of your needs.

I stopped as to print out records for buying customers its a pain and waste of ink. Its easier to just toss in the feeding cards with the snake and the customer can take over where i left off.

Vyper is awesome for few snakes but things can go wrong with software and computers. Not to mention with larger collections inputting the feedings and so on into computer is a hassel.
