Re: Look what I got!!!!
Congratulations on your pick-up. I hope you don't end up breeding him, spiders have enough to worry about without introducing a new defect.

i wouldn't breed a kinked BP.
also, the wobble is not hereditary. it comes with spiders no matter what.

I know all spiders have a wobble.... I never said they didn't I just said it doesn't affect him....and the wobble is genetic it comes with all spiders just some are effected more than others...
And as I said I MIGHT breed him FOR MY SELF and kinks occur naturally its not a genetic defect that I know of, and I also said if the hatchlings were STRONG and no signs of any problems would I consider selling them but not to the general public but only to relatives and close friends...
Okay enough said...

I'm not going to tip-toe around it, but I also mean no offense at all--you shouldn't breed a kinked animal, period. It's not so that you don't sell kinked offspring, it's so that you don't PRODUCE kinked offspring. In my opinion it is cruel to consider breeding an animal that has a relatively high chance of producing severely deformed offspring. You should really give your animals the best possible chance of living a happy life; by breeding a kinked animal, you're not giving your potential future offspring a good chance. To justify it by saying, "If they they're not genetically strong, I won't sell them," is weak in my opinion. It's like saying, "If I don't have to put them down for their kinks, it'll be all good." Why even risk it? It's a great looking spider, just keep him as a pet. Spend the >$200 and get a healthy animal to breed. Anywho, this isn't an attack, simply my opinion on the matter. I wish you and your animal the best.
Cheers,
-Matt
R.I.P. Steve, I'll miss you more than you could have ever known. I love you.
