So why did you get it in the first place? I don't know about you, but I study an animal VERY carefully (either in photos or in person) before plopping down any amount of money on them... and if I don't like how they look, I don't get the snake.

    Lightbulb

    A yellow belly normal...?

Are you talking about the snake on the first post?

While it does have a head spot, that is not indicative of a yellow belly. Heck, she may even have a yellow or cream colored belly... this doesn't mean she's a yellow belly either (I have a YB with a white belly ).

The thing that really settles the matter for me is the fact that she has those black marks down the center of her belly. Yellow bellies do not have that. As many others have tried to tell you, the belly is completely wrong for her to be a YB.

Here are both of my Yellow Bellies.

They vary in color a bit, but they both have flames that creep up the sides:

    They both have head spots:

But the big thing here, is their bellies... Eros has a white belly but you can still see on the edges the 'distortion' of the color. Psyche, on the other hand, has a very yellow belly with the same distortion on the outer edges:

No black track marks up the middle of the belly.

So...that is why I believe that the snake in the first post is not a YB. I think you'll be supremely disappointed if you ever try to sell her as such or try to breed her for ivories... just my two cents.

Re: This is a yellowbelly right??

Ive already had him looked at. They told me he is yellowbelly all the way. Dont trip guys my plan is to breed him to my lesser so we can see. I know he was diff looking when I saw him thats why I bought him. Just because you guys got super nice looking het ivory doesnt mean its not a yellowbelly. The head marking alone is a good indicator my normal big girl does not have that marking( i am aware balls like het pieds can have those same markings).

I was talking about the yb female I first got. Either way he was nice enuff to say " ok, you dont like her then you can bring her back." Some ppl I know wouldnt even wonna take there ball back and give the money back so he's a nice guy to me.

Well, to clarify, I was referring to the snake you posted in this thread, in the first post. I haven't seen your other animals so I can't say anything about them!
