If you order in mass, you're paying the same amount or less than purchasing from the store.

I pay $1 a fuzzy at my local store. If I buy the smallest bag from MiceDirect, it's $0.18 per hopper, 100 minimum order. So after shipping, I'm paying about $0.58 per fuzzy.

So I don't know what size rodents you need, I only have one snake that eats the fuzzies, and he's growing, I won't have a use for the other 80 or so fuzzies after he moves up if I order a bag of 100.

If it weren't for their sales I wouldn't have ordered from Rodentpro. I have twice now and have been disappointed both times. Like others posted, the mice I get from them are not packaged that well (loose in a freezer bag) and are covered in feces, have broken limbs, and some of the adult mice are crunched up in a ball and don't straighten out. Shipping takes 2 days and I'm not a fan of that, although the shipments I get from them have always been frozen upon arrival.

The only other place I have ordered from is The Mouse Factory out of Texas. They overnight them to you, they are vacuum packed on a Styrofoam tray and are clean. They are great people to deal with also. All my future orders will be with them.

    Re: RodentPro

I ordered from them once and as has already been mentioned, the packing sucks. They are all in ziplock bags so if you don't go through them quickly they will go bad faster. To make matters worse, most of the collection started fasting shortly after the order arrived. My other suppliers all cryovac everything so I can keep them up to 6 months prior to opening each package.

    +1
I, like most everyone else, got a few orders from RodentPro but they were not satisfactory (broken limbs, urine/feces etc.) so tried TMF...I won't get rats and mice anywhere else!
They are more expensive than RodentPro but, IMO, more than well worth it.

    Re: RodentPro

I buy from RodentPro at the Columbus reptile show and have had no problems. From the complaints I have read, maybe it's a different story when you buy from them in person? Either way, aside from the few mice that are bent in half, that I can usually bend back straight, I will definitely buy from them again.
