How do i post pics in a thread?

Cant figure it out. Other forums i go on, it has a button says "manage attachments" or whatever. Please any help is very appreciated!!

Or you can utilize your Gallery and upload pics there - and once you've uploaded your pics, you can copy the BB code and paste it into your post

At this time, we don't allow attachments. Here's how to post an image instead...

Upload it to some hosting site...either your free gallery space here at BP.net, or a hosting site like Photobucket. Then take the image's location URL and place it between the [IMG] tags... something like this:

[IMG]http://www.hostingsite.com/account/directory/filename.jpg[/IMG]

Most such sites, including our gallery or Photobucket, include the [IMG] codes that you can copy directly without having to worry about figuring it out yourself.

Iv used picasa on prev post, but it's still only the link

Ok...picasa doesn't have the code handy for you, but you can still do it. Bring up the picture you want to post....right-click on it...then click on "View Image Info"....then copy the code where it says "Location"... THEN put that code between the [IMG] tags... it will look like this for YOUR picture:

[IMG]http://lh6.ggpht.com/_KpbHPBsGTPk/THLcI-MwWlI/AAAAAAAAAA0/_fIfFmRahQQ/s576/IMG_0015.JPG[/IMG]

And will produce this:

I can only do that. And u have to right click then open in new browser
